Four program areas, one purpose: helping communities restore language, traditions, and traditional knowledge through learning.
Language restoration
Language carries a people's way of seeing the world. We support communities working to bring their languages back into daily life through classes for all ages, learning materials developed with fluent speakers, and encouragement for learners at every level.
Programs are shaped by each community's goals — from beginner classes to immersion-style learning — and guided by the speakers and elders who hold the language.
Elders and youth
Knowledge passes from one generation to the next through relationship. Our mentorship program connects knowledge keepers with young people so that traditions, skills, and stories are carried forward.
Mentorships follow community guidance on what is shared and how, and are built around the comfort and wishes of the elders involved.
Scholarships and student support
Education should open doors without asking students to leave their identity behind. We offer scholarships, tutoring, and college guidance to help students pursue their goals.

Educator resources
Teachers want to teach tribal history and culture accurately, but often lack trustworthy materials. We provide workshops and classroom resources developed with community input so educators can teach with confidence and respect.
Materials are reviewed with the communities they describe, and workshops emphasize accuracy, context, and appropriate protocols.
